Born Free Interviews Rangchu – Tekken World Tour 2018 Champion

By Choysauce • May 31, 2019

BornFree (@bornfreetweets) recently interviewed Tekken player, Rangchu (@rangchu123), at Combo Breaker 2019.

Rangchu made a big splash on the scene by placing 4th at his first international tournament (Tekken World Tour Poland) and kept placing consistently high in every tournament he’s attended. He surprised the world, especially Tekken lead producer Katsuhiro Harada (@harada_tekken), when he took the title of Tekken World Tour Champion in 2018.

He was sponsored by Tasty Steve (@tasty_steve) to compete and came out with a 3rd place finish at Combo Breaker 2019. Rangchu is currently a free agent and seeking sponsorship.

Find out why does he use Panda despite being considered one of the weaker characters in Tekken? How he does he compensates for his weaknesses for not having a “Korean” style of play? How did he overcome his devils, Qudans and Knee? And who is his favorite player that he looks up to?

Check out the interview below to find out the answers to these questions and more.
