By Choysauce • January 29, 2020

Joey “Mr. Wizard” Ceullar has announced the date and time for the EVO 2020 game roster reveal.

The live stream for the announcement will happen on the official EVO twitch channel at February 4, 2020 at 7pm PST. We can expect to know the venue and also the 6 games that will be announced for the main lineup of tournaments. EVO 2020 itself will take place July 31 to August 2nd.

You can watch it with us here come February 4th:

Personally, I speculate that the big 3 will definitely be making the cut as they have for the past years: Street Fighter, Tekken, and Smash. Granblue Fantasy Versus is the very plausible to fill in the brand new game entry, a soft tradition of the EVO tournament series. SoulCalibur VI is another strong candidate as it has been going strong with the world tour just kicking off and the reception for the game is growing steadily. Guilty Gear Strive and King of Fighters XV are good candidates with strong IP’s that are likely to make it in if they release beforehand.

Which games do you think will make the cut this year? Let us know in the comments!
