Emily ‘NyxRose’ Tran Talks EQNX, Tekken, and Sponsorships in the Fighting Game Community

If you’ve followed the Fighting Game Community closely, you’ve almost certainly run across someone sponsored by Equinox Gaming. It backs Tekken 7 pros Jeannail “Cuddle_Core” Carter and Soo-hoon “Ulsan” Lim, Street Fighter V players Brian “Brian_F” Foster and Miria Regina “Phantom Miria” Ferreira, and streamer and cosplayer Amanda “Romanova” Rose, among others. But most of us don’t look behind the names.

Luckily, the community filmmakers at Hold Back To Block are here to give us a behind-the-scenes look at the team. They interviewed Emily “NyxRose” Tran about her history in competitive gaming, her love of Tekken, and what she looks for in players.
