The History of Wrongfully Banned Super Smash Bros. Characters

ZeRo takes us on a quick history of some controversial character bans that has happened in competitive Smash Bros. history.

The most contentious characters in the competitive Smash community have been characters that dominated the top spots for tournament placings.

ZeRo explains that many of these bans were not unanimous because of only smaller pockets of the community actually upholding bans. He goes into more details about Bayonetta’s on the fence ban, the doubles Cloud ban, and Dragon Quest Hero’s ban. The last surprising entry is about the talk behind banning Sheik early on in competitive Melee.
