Although COVID-19 is still wreaking havoc with the Fighting Game Community’s event schedule, the community itself is still going strong. Thanks to our array of talented tournament organizers, filmmakers, and streamers, there are still plenty of ways to get your FGC fix.
Combo Queens, a group dedicated to supporting women in the FGC, recently helped out by highlighting women who stream fighting games. They got seventy-five replies when they tweeted out the call, and the women who responded play just about any game you can name. There are streamers for Granblue Fantasy Versus, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Street Fighter V, Soulcalibur VI, Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11, and more.
